The most important aspect for the Harlands in deciding which shower system to choose was their upstairs wooden flooring.

As Atlantis systems are purpose-built to suit wooden floor areas, the decision was an easy one. With components that form a complete capsule to retain all water within the shower, Atlantis has taken away the hard work and eliminated much of the risk in building the Harland’s tiled shower.

Mrs Harland especially liked the fact that she was able to add her personal touch to the system, selecting tiles that worked well in both the upstairs and downstairs bathroom renovations. Although not particularly into the new modern lines fashionable today, the Atlantis system with its frameless screens still fitted into the decor, the unobtrusive nature of its look able to transcend both modern and traditional looks, working well with the free-standing bath tub.

It was finally the free-standing, frameless nature of the showers the Harlands had installed that created the illusion of space and further accentuated their new bathrooms’ interiors. Atlantis had provided the perfect solution!

Trevor Pooley has been a Master Builder for most of his working life, working in partnership with his wife in their own company, T. J. Pooley (Builders) Ltd., building Better Homes and then having the Lockwood Franchise for the better part of 18 years for Tauranga and surrounds.

Retired now for 7 years, the Pooley’s new home required a shower system that would cater to their comfortable lifestyle, and as well, family that visited.  Installing two new bathrooms, Trevor chose the Atlantis system after meeting Bruce (Company Founder) at the recent Tauranga Home Show.  Impressed by Bruce’s vision and his continual drive to “always look for something better”, Trevor realised the Atlantis system was the best in the industry and that the tile shower look and design were complementary to their new home.

Further assured by the system’s structure and material, the waterproof membrane that ensured no water would seep through, Trevor’s decision to buy Atlantis was an easy one.

It was finally the after-sale service that ended up coming straight from Bruce himself that gave the Pooley’s great belief in the integrity of Atlantis.  A small issue with packaging was immediately rectified by Bruce who was able to take on board the client’s needs above all else.

The Pooleys now enjoy a tile-shower system that looks good and substantially enhances the shower experience.
